I'm a big Gene Loves Jezebel fan and on searching online...I hit the jackpot and thought I would share this site with others.
If you like GLJ just hit the downloads link...there you'll be happy to find, MP3s of Rare Tracks, Mixes, and a sh#tload of Live shows all in full downloads. Also, don't forget to download all their videos...the only vid missing is for the tune HEARTACHE, so I'm looking into getting that as well.
Enjoy! by the way, be sure to download the video MOTION OF LOVE, talk about GLAM IMAGE.
I've already downloaded everything and it's well worth getting.

    HAHA...yeah Grant...I'm also a 80s new wave fan.
and yes on your mentions...I do own all of Bauhaus cds, Jesus and Mary Chain, Duran Duran, Echo and the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, Love and Rockets, Lots of college alternative bands from back in the day.

    Damaged....
I was suppose to see them here in Austin Texas like 2yrs or so and the friggin' club show got sold out...So needless to say...I didn't go.

    This one!!!

    Gene Loves Jezebel

    Plus support

Gene Loves Jezebel have been around (in various permutations) since Goth diverged from the early Eighties neo-romantic scene and were originally a Beggars Banquet signing. Though frontman Michael Aston, now living in California is more romantic than Gothic, he has a flair for the dramatic and knows how to use it. Exploding Girl" is a smouldering, melodic meditation . Other topical and personal insights surface amid edgy tunes shot through with exotic flavours, ranging from the slinky electronica-tinged groove behind the bittersweet "2 Hungry Women" to the African-style percussion driving "Blue Mary." This fetching album will hold a special appeal for those who fondly recall the days when Goth was more about romantic yearning (in the Bronte sense) and gritty pop rock than fetish gear and down-tuned guitars. This album is comprised completely of songs that Aston penned about women who have affected his life. It is probably the strongest album Gene Loves Jezebel has ever made. It's nearly flawless in it's U2 meets The Cure meets Human League style delivery. The songs are strong and catchy. The songs here are particularly intriguing due to their lyrical content. Aston delivers an entire album full of thought provoking songs that will definitely catch your attention.

?Overall this is a great album. The production is great, the song writing is superb, and the lyrics will stir you. This could very well be the defining moment for this legendary band?.
